THE NDIS PRICE LIMIT
NDIS price limit for house cleaning, 2026–27
The NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026–27, in effect from 24 September 2026, sets the maximum for House Cleaning and Other Household Activities (item 01_020_0120_1_1) at $60.10 an hour in most of Australia, $84.14 in remote areas and $90.15 in very remote areas, including any GST.
Those limits apply to NDIA-managed and plan-managed funding. If you self-manage, you can agree a different price, but the clean is paid from the same budget, so a higher price uses it faster.
We price per clean, not per hour, at the same price every customer pays. The table shows today’s prices and the time we book for one cleaner, so you can compare them with your plan.

Booked time for a home that has been kept on top of, with no extras. A home that needs more attention, and extras, add time. The total labour is the same whether one cleaner or a team does it, and so is the price; a team simply finishes sooner. Measured: on 91 standard cleans with check-in and check-out times in our cleaner app (since our current booking platform began in April 2026), the median was 2h 47m of cleaner time, and the middle half took 2h 14m to 3h 42m. That is total cleaner time across the team, for homes of every size.

What we charge
The same as every other customer. We have no separate NDIS price list and we do not price up because you are self-managed. Our per-job price depends on your service, home size, cleaning condition, frequency, extras and applicable fees. Review the itemised total in booking before confirming.
Simply Maid accepts self-managed NDIS bookings using its usual cleaning prices and card payments. The quote prices the service; it does not establish funding eligibility. Confirm the support against your plan and current NDIA guidance, and keep your itemised records.

A one-off standard clean starts at $221 and a deep clean at $329. A regular standard plan is 15% off every fortnightly visit.

Prices are AUD per visit from our booking calculator, including GST and the Care & Cover fee, for a home that has been kept on top of, with no extras or discount code. Prices are the same in every city we serve. 2 bed, 1 bath is the home size we clean most often. Move-in cleans use the end of lease price. Your own price depends on home size, cleaning needs, frequency and extras, and is itemised before you confirm.

Carpet steam cleaning can be booked on its own or added to a deep or end of lease clean; booking fees are shown at checkout. Business cleaning is the cleaner-hours you choose, with the full total shown before you book.
FOR YOUR RECORDS
What your invoice shows
After the clean and payment, we send an itemised tax invoice and receipt with Simply Maid’s business name and ABN, the participant’s name and NDIS number, the service date and time, the booked duration, a description of the clean, each charge, the GST and the total paid.
Those are the details the NDIA asks self-managers to keep for each support. Keep your invoices with your records, and lodge your claim through the my NDIS app or portal. From December 2026, claims need to be made within 90 days of the support.

Common questions
How is the price calculated?
Simply Maid uses its normal per-job pricing for self-managed customers. The service, home size, condition, frequency, extras and applicable fees determine the itemised total in booking.
How do I claim a self-managed clean?
Check that the support is eligible under your plan, keep your itemised documents and follow the current NDIS claim guide. Simply Maid does not submit the claim or guarantee reimbursement.
Does the price include GST?
The booking calculator shows GST and applicable fees in the itemised total before you confirm.
What if my plan runs out of funding?
You remain responsible for the booking cost. Contact the team or manage upcoming visits in your customer account, reviewing the booking terms and any applicable fees.
